What this is.

SJVIK Labs is the publishing and product studio of Steven J. Vik, a cybersecurity engineer based in Seattle.

Why it exists.

I built a 3-node Proxmox cluster in my condo because I wanted to understand how production infrastructure actually works when you are the one responsible for it. Eleven containers, monitoring, backups, recovery runbooks. The tools and patterns turned out to be useful to other practitioners. So I started publishing them.

What it is not.

Not a consultancy. I am not taking client work right now. Not a SaaS company. There is no platform to sign up for. Not a content brand. The content exists to support the work, not the other way around.
